Factory vs. trading company — how to tell them apart

Search for "factory" on Alibaba and more than half the results are trading companies. A trader never reveals the factory's name — the moment they do, their margin disappears.

We go the opposite way. Every SKU lists the manufacturer's real name, location, and audit records. In this structure, there is nothing to hide.

How to check: ask whether the business license lists production (生产) in its scope, and whether they can show factory photos and an equipment list. We show you these documents first.

Mold ownership records

The classic custom-packaging dispute is the mold: the brand pays for it, then the factory claims ownership or reuses it for other brands' orders.

When a mold is made, we record ownership, storage location, and disposal terms in the contract and a separate registration document, and give the buyer a copy. v1 does not accept new mold orders, but we publish the record system first.
